Support Robotics Through PLM

Help students build, code, and compete by sponsoring robot parts and giving tax-deductible donations through PLM.

PLM provides the parts, tools, and resources students need to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). Every donation—whether a general donation or sponsoring a specific robot part—flows through PLM to our robotics program, ensuring that the funds go toward FTC-legal components and support the team’s season.

When you give through this page, your donation goes to PLM and is designated for our robotics program. PLM then uses these funds to purchase FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) legal parts, pay team-related expenses, and make targeted gifts that directly support robotics students.

Equip Our Students with Modern AI Tools

In today's competitive robotics landscape, building a winning robot requires more than nuts, bolts, and motors – it requires the power of modern artificial intelligence. Teams across the country are using AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini to research engineering solutions, debug code, analyze game strategies, and accelerate their learning. Our students deserve the same opportunities. Many come from households where premium AI subscriptions are out of reach, creating a digital divide that puts them at a disadvantage before they even step onto the competition floor.

Your gift toward AI tool subscriptions empowers our students and coaches with:

– ChatGPT Plus – $25/month per user
– Perplexity Pro – $25/month per user
– Claude Pro – $25/month per user
– Google Gemini Advanced – $20/month per user
Estimated Annual Need: $240-$960 per student/coach

These aren’t luxuries – they’re the same tools used by engineering students at top universities. By funding AI subscriptions, you’re helping build the problem-solvers and innovators of tomorrow.

Stewardship, Compliance, and Disclaimers

All contributions given through this page are donations to PLM. While every effort is made to honor donor designations for the robotics program, PLM retains full discretion over the use of donated funds in alignment with its mission.

Designated robotics funds are intended to be used for FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) legal parts, registration fees, travel, and related expenses that directly support our robotics team. If a specific part becomes unavailable, changes in price, or is no longer legal under current FTC rules, PLM may purchase equivalent items or apply funds to other robotics expenses.

Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your donation. Retain your Stripe receipt or email confirmation as your donation record.
